Long-eared Friends 長耳の仲間

Long ears are useful antennae. The donkeys and I can send messages to each other by bouncing them off the moon, and our ears will always pick up the signal. Well, usually – there are a few problems. Donkey doesn’t encode very well for a start, and their chewing tends to scramble the message. But then they always send the same message, so I don’t have much trouble decoding: “Rain again. Send Carrots.”

長い耳は便利なアンテナです。ロバ達とやりとりしたいときはメッセージを月に反射させればいい。後は耳にまかせて、信号を受信できます。ま、普通はできます。ときどき問題が起こる。そもそもロバ語はエンコードしにくい言語だし、そして彼らはいつもモグモグしてるので、メッセージがスクランブルされる場合が多いです。ただ、いつも同じメッセージを送るので、デコード作業はとくに苦労しません。「今日もまた雨だ。人参ちょうだい。」
